For those who love writing there are several ‘Write Away’ workshops. The workshops are often taught by artists appearing on stage at the festival so it’s your chance to pick the mind of a published author.

The Cheltenham Literature Festival also has a children’s festival-within-a-festival entitled Book It!, where the best of children’s literature comes to life – often in the guise of a giant ‘Cat in the Hat’ or Peter Rabbit!
